You can enjoy swimming, snorkelling, wind-surfing, surfing, body boarding or simply relaxing in the shade. Beach front vendors offer water sport, beach chair and umbrella rentals along with beach wear, arts and crafts, food and drinks for sale.
Lanterns Mall
2-minute walk
This beautiful outdoor complex features attracts residents and tourists for its representation of local, Mediterranean, Asian, and European foods. From pizza to Subway to wine, there is so much that this mall has to offer. In addition, you can enjoy the convenience of and iMart (convenience store, pharmacy, beer and wine); merchandise of local vendors; as well as the services of the Royal Bank of Canada​
Quay side mall
10-minute walk
Enjoy the Quay Side Centre directly across from the beach, where you'll find Just Grilling, Opa-Greek, Chinese food, Chilly-Moo's ice cream, Cafe Sol, Cafe Italia's coffee shop, Best of Barbados' souvenirs, and the local surf shop.​

Check out our local eats, just five minutes away! KFC, Tapas, Bistro Monet, Reggae Grill, Ackee Tree, Bubba's Sports Bar, South 7, and Naru Sushi. If you're interested in something else, try the bites that are a ten minute walk: Champers, Terasu Cafe, Burts Bar, Mama Mia, Blakeys, the Tiki Bar, and Chefette (fast food).

Take a drive
Upon arrival, we are a mere 15 minute drive from the airport. While we recommend a nice island tour, here are a few of our favourite nearby spots: Bridgetown, 10 minutes away, is the downtown of the area. For activities, there is the Rockley Golf & Country Club; the Barbados Golf Club, and Sheraton Mall. Looking for a day out? try St. Lawrence Gap, a 10 minute drive, where you'll find the dining, entertainment, and nightclub centre of the island. And we can't forget Oistins Fish Market, known for their "Friday Night Fish Fry."
